Do you need to apostille your transcripts?
At Apostille, Inc., we take the guesswork out of obtaining an apostille on your transcripts.
We can apostille transcripts issued from all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia. For countries who are non-members of the Hague Apostille Convention, we can also process your transcripts through the U.S. Department of State and the Embassy or Consulate office.
We can apostille transcripts issued from Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, High Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Trade Schools. Before we can process your documents, you will need to follow the three steps outlined below.
Step #1: The first step is to contact the School’s Registrar and inform the Registrar that you will need a copy of your transcripts to be signed and notarized. The Registrar will print a new set of transcripts on special tamper resistant paper and meet with a notary public. If the school does not have a notary on staff, a traveling notary can visit the school and meet with the Registrar. You can search online and arrange for a traveling notary service to visit the school when it’s convenient for the Registrar. Most notaries are unfamiliar with authenticating a transcript for another country so it’s best to leave the apostille process to us. The notary must follow the proper notarial laws of their State in order for the State office to authenticate the documents.
Step #2: Once you receive your transcripts, go ahead and open the sealed envelope to verify that they have in fact been signed and notarized. Don’t worry about breaking the “Seal” because we will open the envelope once we receive it. It’s important that you verify the information listed on your transcripts and catch any mistakes before you mail it in to us. The original signature and the printed name of the Registrar must be on the documents including the notary’s name, signature, date of notarization, notarial wording, and stamp.
Step #3: The final step is to mail in your transcripts to our office for processing. We have created an order form and credit card authorization form for every US State and the District of Columbia.
Please Note: We can only help you with documents originating from or notarized within the United States and for another country. If your transcripts originate from another country, you will need to contact the correct competent authority to assist you in that country.
Obtaining an apostille can be complicated. Don’t leave this process to untrained employees or non-professionals who do not fully understand the apostille process and the unique requirements of certain countries. Your paperwork could be rejected costing you time and money. Don’t let this happen to you!
