Do you need to apostille documents through the US Department of State in Washington, D.C.?
Document issued from the U.S. Federal Government (Example: FBI background check, Social Security (SSA), Certificate of Naturalization, Certificate of Citizenship, USCIS, Veterans Affairs, IRS, FDA, USDA, National Archives, NARA, USPTO, etc…) are processed directly through the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. – Office of Authentications.
Currently we are only able to offer the “Basic” and “Plus” service pricing. The estimated processing time is five+ weeks for the “Basic” service and two to three weeks for the “Plus” service. The processing times are estimated and may take longer. On the first page of the order form select “Basic” or “Plus”.
NOTE: During the summer season (June-September), there could be additional delays in processing your document(s).
The “Plus” service is highly recommended. The “Plus” service includes hand-delivery and pick-up from the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. We also provide FedEx or UPS two-day return shipping at no additional cost.
If you are in a rush, we recommend that you select the “Plus” service. Also, please contact us for the most up-to-date pricing and availability.

The very first step is to contact our Washington DC apostille office. We will need to know what type of documents you need to apostille and the country requesting them. We will then email you the instructions and order forms. For FBI background check, you can email us the PDF copy with the order forms. But, most Federal documents you will need to mail them in for processing.
